On the first Friday of every month, we bring together incredible live music, a rotating local art exhibit, and an amazing dinner menu crafted by Chef Emilee. Each menu is unique for the night, and dinner often sells out—so don’t wait to reserve your spot!
This is one of our busiest events, and for good reason: great wine, great food, and a cozy atmosphere with live music to set the perfect vibe.

Join Chef Fabi at Burnt Bridge Creek Cellars Class Cooking for hugely popular meal for take out, now you can learn how to make the classics of Indian cuisine! You'll make your favorites like Chicken Tikka Masala, Kachumber, and golden rice. You'll also learn the nuances of building flavors in Indian cooking and make a beautiful meal from scratch for your family and friends!
What to expect:
Class will include all instruction, tools, recipes and ingredients.
There will be some demo, and lots of time for hands-on cooking.
Sampling the tapas at the end of class or taking home leftovers. Be sure to bring tupperware!
This class contains dairy and chicken.

She attended culinary school 14 years ago and has worked in many kitchens since but found her love of being a cooking instructor along the way. She studied a variety of savory and sweet cuisines while in culinary school, including Asian cuisine and baking and pastry! Chef Fabi was born in Mexico to a Mexican and Spanish family and learned how to cook from her Mama, Fabiola. She now shares her families recipes in all of her cooking classes with you!

Join Chef Fabi for an afternoon learning to master your knife skills! Learn all of the basics, improving your skills in class with all hands on learning. Enjoy the fruits of your labor at the end of class with something whipped up during class. Knives will be provided or bring your knife from home!
What to expect:
Class will include all instruction, tools, recipes and ingredients.
There will be some demo, and hands on knife skills lessons for most of class.
There will be a meal made during class and enjoyed at the end of class.

Join Chef Fabi for an evening of tapas making in this demo dinner with Chef Fabi teaching you while she makes you dinner! Learn how to make several different classic Spanish tapas, which means, little bites! Become a pro so you can go throw your own Spanish tapas party for your friends and family this holiday season. Chef Fabi will be making a variety of tapas such as, gambas al ajillo, pan con tomate, and or pisto! Learn to make it all with none of the work.
What to expect:
Class will include all instruction, tools, recipes and ingredients.
This is all a demonstration dinner, no hands on. Unless you really want to jump in and help!
You will enjoy each course as it's made by Chef Fabi.
This class contains eggs and shellfish.
This class can be dairy free and gluten free friendly. Please notify the chef immediately of any allergies so she can make the adjustments needed.

Enchiladas Verde y Rojo
Join Chef Fabi at Class Cooking in Downtown Vancouver as she teaches you to make her favorite enchiladas with both red and green salsas! These salsa are the most traditional Mexican recipes made in many homes across Mexico! You’ll learn how to make the entire dish from start to end from how to cook the fillings, make both salsas, and learn the best techniques how to roll up the enchiladas so they stay together and never fall apart!

Plant Based Thai with Tyler!

Plant-Based Thai Menu:
In this month’s cooking class, all of the recipes we will be making are plant-based (AKA vegan)! This meal is a fresh & vibrant take on classic Thai favorites. Perfect for vegans, vegetarians, and those just looking to enjoy a delicious and colorful meal!
We’ll be cooking from 5:30-7:30pm and dining from 7:30-8:30pm
- Thai fresh rolls: Crisp & vibrant veggies all wrapped up in delicate rice paper
- Homemade peanut sauce: A rich and decadent blend of peanuts, lime & spices. Perfect for dipping Thai fresh rolls
- Pad Thai: A fresh take on the take-out classic. Stir-fried rice noodles and fresh vegetables, all tossed in a tangy-savory-sweet sauce. Finished with crunchy peanuts and tons of fresh lime
- Crispy tofu: Pan-fried to golden, crispy perfection. Served over our Pad Thai noodles
- Toasted coconut & lime macadamia nut cookies: A tropical twist on a classic cookie. Finished with extra toasted coconut and a drizzle of lime icing

Join Chef Fabi at Burnt Bridge Creek Cellars Class Cooking for an evening of classic Mexican antojitos cooking, which means crave-able in Spanish! Sopes are a mix between a taco and tostada made with a thicker corn base and filled with delicious marinaded meat and topped with a assortment of salsas, avocado, Mexican cheese, and so much more! These were Chef Fabi's Mama's favorite little treats!

Betsy Soifer is a Vancouver-based artist known for her unique sculptures crafted from recycled metal. Her work combines industrial textures with organic forms, creating pieces that are fun and environmentally conscious.

Chef Emilee Mahan is working with Erica Jolly to provide First Friday dinner along with dessert! We’ll be serving Salmon on balsamic lentils with goat cheese and walnuts, alongside a salad of greens and house made dressing.
Music
Kendall Lujan is a Portland-based artist blending jazz, folk, bossa nova, and indie rock. Her introspective songwriting has earned recognition from NPR, MTV, and the John Lennon Songwriting Contest. Her debut EP gained traction, and her album Lucky Penny releases in 2025. She has toured Europe and opened for major artists.

Just in time for the winter gloom, we’re going to brighten up the wine room with these awesome origami balloon light strands. Come enjoy some Burnt Bridge wine and learn the traditional origami balloon (also called a waterbomb). We'll make a whole bunch of them using translucent paper and put them on an LED light strand. You’ll want to make some for to brighten your own home too! Diagrams and paper are provided. Classes are drop in and informal.

Brenna’s roots are in the outskirts of Portland, Oregon. She embodies the essence of a true troubadour, captivating the audiences with her heartfelt performances and soulful melodies. 6pm-8pm

Patio Pottery with Kilnfolk
Join our friends from Kilnfolk to launch our first Patio Pinch Pot Workshop. We'll be enjoying the beautiful weather while we work on some pottery skills. The class will start with an hour of instruction followed by an hour to work on your designs. Live Music: Story & Tune
Ben and Karyn play original and covers of indie-folk, captivating the audience with their amazing on stage chemistry. They always make sure to include the audience into the performance, making the show feel both intimate and fun.

Live Music: Bronwen Roberts
A Portland based singer-songwriter, fluent in four languages, her repertoire spans Brazilian Jazz, French YéYé, Americana, and other world music – as well as her own Indie-Folk compositions. She attended college at Yale University, and the University of Paris, later moving to Rio de Janeiro where she studied Brazilian rhythms. 6pm-8pm

Live Music: Dana & Jake
Join us at Burnt Bridge Cellars for beautiful Spanish ballads and Spanish inspired guitar. They are a Burnt Bridge Cellars favorite! Dana is a local photographer and routinely wows us all with her creative expression through art, and music featuring her husband Jake!

Trivia Night at Burnt Bridge Cellars
Come Swing by and hang out with us while Randal hosts Trivia! He covers a variety of topics including science, history, sports, pop culture, and music! There’s prizes for the top three winners, and the person in 1st place gets to pick the trivia topic for the following month!
